 US sees Turkey agreeing to Sweden NATO accession shortly, Blinken says. 

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that he expects Turkey to agree to Sweden's accession to NATO "shortly." Turkey had previously raised objections to Sweden's membership, citing concerns about its support for Kurdish groups. However, Blinken said that he believes these concerns have been addressed and that Turkey is now prepared to give its consent.
